Preparing for the Worst-Case Scenario

A 30-year veteran of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) recently attended one of our farm tours. I’m known as the lunatic farmer, so these 2.5-hour hayride trips are affectionately called “Lunatic Tours.”

I had never heard of the DIA. I learned it’s an agency made up of spooks who oversee all the other American spooks and interact with spooks from other countries. In other words, the DIA is the umbrella agency that coordinates all of our intelligence efforts.

I can’t begin to remember all the things this recent retiree told me, but let’s just say he pinned my ears back for a while.

A couple of things stand out. One is that the spooks knew about COVID-19 long before it became a thing – up to a year in advance. They knew it was coming, they knew where it was coming from and they knew about the whole planned pandemic narrative – pretty much everything.

One key takeaway is that the rest of us mere mortals don’t know much.

Joel Salatin
Joel Salatin

Joel Salatin calls himself a Christian libertarian environmentalist capitalist lunatic farmer. Others who like him call him the most famous farmer in the world, the high priest of the pasture, and the most eclectic thinker from Virginia since Thomas Jefferson. Those who don’t like him call him a bioterrorist, Typhoid Mary, a charlatan, and a starvation advocate. With a room full of debate trophies from high school and college days, 12 published books, and a thriving multigenerational family farm, he draws on a lifetime of food, farming and fantasy to entertain and inspire audiences around the world.
